Daffodils is a lyrical poem written by William Wordsworth who is an American poet. He is also known as a romantic poet. Due to his love for nature, most of his poems describe nature and its beauty. In this poem, the poet shares with us an exciting experience of enjoyment at the sight of beautiful flowers. He states that once he was walking in the countryside. He suddenly comes across a large number of golden daffodils growing along the bank of a lake. “Continuous as stars that shine and twinkle on the Milky Way”.
